The short answer
Request LED ceiling panels by actual dimensions, mounting arrangement, approved light output, colour temperature and driver requirements. A nominal 60 × 60 description alone is not enough to establish ceiling compatibility. For an Ethiopian project sourcing from the UAE, send the lighting schedule and ask for exact product references before comparing prices.

Check the ceiling arrangement first
Start with the ceiling details approved by your project team. A recessed panel, suspended fitting and surface-mounted installation may require different components. Ask the quotation to identify those components rather than assuming a photograph shows the complete supplied assembly. For a replacement order, include measurements and the existing product reference. Keep the offered panel dimensions beside the project requirement so the installer can review the match before the order is accepted.
Compare the whole fitting
Record output and colour appearance separately from power consumption. Ask for the proposed datasheet and have the designer review the required characteristics. Where dimming is required, include the control arrangement and ask the reviewer to confirm the driver combination. Two panels described with the same wattage can still be different offers. For consistent rooms, retain the approved model reference instead of allowing substitutions to be made under a generic panel description.
Make receiving checks simple
Ask for cartons to identify the product reference and quantity. Keep drivers and mounting accessories traceable to the fittings they belong with. If spare drivers or additional mounting kits are requested, list them separately. Your receiving team should compare the delivered references against the approved offer and follow the agreed discrepancy procedure. Include your Ethiopian destination and required timing in the enquiry, with packing and delivery responsibilities confirmed in writing.
