Ask UAE suppliers to confirm the offered references and whether the quote covers full sheets, processed pieces or both.

Decide who owns the cutting calculation
A workshop may purchase full sheets and manage cutting itself, or request a separately agreed processing service. State which arrangement you need. Keep the project cut list distinct from the supplier's selling unit. The responsible workshop team should reconcile the material requirement and allowance. Do not assume that sending piece dimensions automatically means cutting or optimisation is included in a material quotation.
Make the panel identity reviewable
Record the approved grade, thickness, dimensions and finish reference. If visible faces or edges matter, identify those requirements. Ask for the exact offered product and have the project or workshop reviewer approve alternatives. Broad quality descriptions cannot replace the specification. For matching cabinetry or interiors, keep the sample decision attached to the product reference so repeat orders are compared against the same approved selection.
Plan packing and future orders
Discuss protection for faces and edges and ask how packages will be identified. Keep full-sheet counts and processed-piece counts separate on the receiving checklist. Include your Ethiopian destination, timing and any processing dependencies in the UAE enquiry. Save the accepted specification and quotation revision for future orders. A repeat request should confirm availability and proposed product details again rather than assuming a former offer still applies unchanged.
