Record the production requirement
Give the supplier the material requirement approved for your printing process and intended application. Include the relevant machine or process reference where needed for review. Do not assume that a material with a similar appearance is an equivalent substitute. Ask for exact offered references and supporting product information. The production team should decide whether an alternative needs further assessment before being accepted.
Compare roll dimensions before price
State width and length separately and ask for the selling unit. A cheaper roll may contain less material or have dimensions unsuitable for the intended process. Include any core or handling requirement your equipment needs. Keep quantity rounding visible and separate trial quantities from a larger repeat-order request. This allows the supplier to quote the actual purchase rather than a generic price for a broad media category.
Keep sample results connected to the product
Agree the sample or test approval needed for the job and record the material reference and decision. Do not transfer that approval silently to a different product. Ask for relevant storage information and packing details. Include the Ethiopian destination and timing in the UAE enquiry. Retain the approved specification for later orders, while confirming current availability and proposed product details again each time.
