Match the device to the business workflow
Explain whether the tablets are for staff, a customer-facing task or resale. Ask your IT team to identify the application and management requirements before approving hardware. Do not let a condition or configuration change appear only in a footnote to a cheaper quotation.
Count accessories per complete device
A tablet-only price may exclude a protective case, charger, keyboard or stand that the workflow needs. List those accessories separately and identify any compatibility requirement. For a batch distributed between branches, state the allocation and labelling needs. Ask the supplier to confirm the actual package contents rather than relying on a promotional image. Review one complete device package before multiplying it across the whole order.
Prepare for deployment and warranty
Clarify which software, accounts or management services the buyer must arrange. Keep configuration and ongoing support separate from supply unless explicitly included. Ask where warranty claims are handled for equipment used in Ethiopia and what records are required. Agree the receiving checklist for quantities, references and supplied contents.
