Record whether the quantity is a total length or a number of reels, and ask for the offered reel lengths. Request the relevant product documentation for review. Check accessory combinations before ordering
A switch faceplate, mechanism and mounting box may be separate purchasing items. A floor box can require a particular module arrangement and installation depth. List the complete required assembly and ask the quotation to confirm included parts. For a refurbishment, provide measurements and the existing system reference where possible. A photograph helps identify appearance but should not be the sole basis for compatibility. Keep finishes consistent where adjacent accessories must match.
Compare offers against approved performance
Create a comparison sheet with your requirement, each offered reference and a deviation column. Do not mark a line compliant merely because its description contains the same general product name.
