Define the meeting before choosing the screen
A room used for local presentations can have different requirements from one used for remote meetings. Describe the intended tasks, existing computers and any system that must remain. Give the AV reviewer a room layout and ask for an approved equipment list. Avoid using screen size as the only buying criterion. The procurement record should explain the required connections and functions so suppliers can identify whether their proposed devices match.
Separate the display from its accessories
Ask the quotation to identify the screen model, condition, included accessories and proposed mounting components. Have the installer confirm the mounting arrangement for the actual wall or furniture. Specify required source cables and adapters rather than assuming they are in the screen carton. If a commercial display is required, state that explicitly; a general television description does not establish the intended operating features or support terms.
Compare the audio system as a package
Speakers and amplifiers should follow a compatible design approved by the responsible specialist. Purchasing isolated devices by headline power figures is not a complete system comparison. Keep model references, quantities and required connection accessories together. For conferencing, identify who is supplying microphones, cameras and any software entitlements. Agree what a working handover means
Before ordering for a Dubai office, identify who will install, configure and demonstrate the system.
