Clarify what the supplier is being asked to supply
An aluminium profile, a cut component and a completed assembly are different commercial scopes. The same is true of glass material and a finished installation. State the intended purchase and attach the approved information needed to quote it. Ask the supplier to identify exclusions. Keep installation and site measurement responsibilities clear rather than allowing a general material description to stand in for a complete work package.
Control drawing revisions
Put a drawing or schedule reference on each enquiry line and identify the current revision. If dimensions change, request a revised quotation against the updated information. Have the responsible professional approve any proposed alternative or processing change. This guide does not select glass types or structural components. Technical suitability, safety and installation requirements must be resolved by the appropriate project professionals before purchasing.
Discuss protection and receiving
Ask for packing suited to the actual product and agreed transport scope. Identify any special handling or receiving constraints to the parties responsible. Keep package labels connected to drawing and order references so components can be checked without confusion. Include the Ethiopian destination and timing in the UAE request. Retain the accepted drawings, specifications and quotation together; a photograph of a similar assembly is not an adequate replacement for those records.
