The short answer
Before sourcing air conditioners or appliances for export, confirm the exact product specification, destination power requirements, quantities, installation scope and warranty arrangements. For cooling equipment, obtain the required capacity from your project professional. Ask the quotation to identify accessories, packing and delivery responsibilities separately.
What to include in your quotation request
| Requirement | Details to provide |
|---|---|
| Cooling equipment | Unit type, approved capacity, model preference, quantity and indoor/outdoor component references. |
| Household appliances | Product type, capacity, dimensions, finish, model and intended use. |
| Compatibility | Required voltage, frequency, phase where relevant, connections and installation constraints. |
| Commercial scope | Accessories, packing, transport, destination warranty, lead time and exclusions. |
Start with the application and the destination
A home, office, accommodation project and resale order may require different product configurations. Explain the intended use and provide a separate line for every appliance or cooling unit. Include the destination country and city, requested quantities and required timing. If matching a previous purchase, provide the full model reference and specifications; a familiar brand name alone does not identify the same product.
Do not estimate cooling capacity from floor area alone
The required capacity depends on the building and its conditions. Ask the responsible cooling professional to confirm the design requirement before you request equipment. The Natural Resources Canada air-conditioning guide recommends a proper cooling-load assessment rather than relying on simple sizing rules. Its technical context is Canadian; project and destination requirements still need local confirmation. Supply the approved capacity and unit type in your BOM rather than requesting an unspecified “large AC”.
Separate the main equipment from installation materials
For air conditioning, identify the required indoor and outdoor equipment and ask the supplier to state the exact combination proposed. List any requested controls, mounting accessories or other installation materials separately. For household appliances, confirm the physical dimensions and connection requirements against the intended space. Supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance are separate scopes unless the accepted quotation explicitly combines them.
Check power and model compatibility
Record the destination power requirements and ask for the proposed model’s technical data. Do not assume that every version of a product has identical voltage, frequency, plug or connection requirements. Have the responsible installer verify suitability before ordering. When alternatives are offered, compare their specifications and included components, not just their headline capacity or price. Keep the approved model reference in the final purchase record.
Clarify warranty and service before dispatch
Ask who provides the warranty, where a claim can be handled and which documents are required. Confirm whether the proposed terms apply in the destination country. Request written clarification of any installation conditions, parts arrangements or exclusions relevant to the order. A UAE purchase does not, by itself, establish the same service arrangements in another market. If support is important to the project, make it part of the quotation review.
Agree packing, receipt checks and the export scope
Discuss how equipment will be packed and identified, particularly when several models are supplied together. Ask how quantities and model references will appear on the agreed packing documents. Confirm responsibility for transport, insurance and clearance where applicable. The buyer and relevant specialists should check current destination requirements for the specific goods. On receipt, compare the goods and documentation with the accepted order and raise discrepancies promptly under the agreed terms.
Send a clear enquiry to AAMA
AAMA Trading LLC welcomes enquiries for household appliances, air conditioners and accessories, televisions and LED screens for local UAE requirements and export. Send your specification, quantity and destination through the quotation form. You can combine these with other categories in a mixed BOM, but mark urgent items and mandatory models clearly. Availability, delivery timing and support arrangements are confirmed for each order.
Buyer questions
Can appliances and air conditioners be quoted in one enquiry?
Yes. Use a separate line for each product and include quantities, specifications and destination details.
Does an air conditioner quotation include installation?
Do not assume installation is included. Ask the quotation to state whether installation, commissioning, accessories or maintenance are part of the agreed scope.
Is there a fixed export delivery time?
Timing depends on the products, availability, quantities and agreed transport arrangements. Request an order-specific lead time when reviewing the quotation.
